How Do I Meet People?
The Place of Grace is not a place for spectators. It is a place for team members. Whether you are a five-year old child, a ninety-five year old grandmother, a busy mom, or a businessman with big responsibilities, we want you to be a part of our vibrant church community. Here is how you can learn, serve, and grow at The Place of Grace. [some of the below described areas are areas or goals to be moved toward]
Small Group
Often, small groups of people are better able to interact and learn about a topic than larger groups are. For that reason, The Place of Grace encourages those tenured members who are foundationally experienced in God’s grace to have small bible studies held in member homes. The size of the group is anywhere from six to twelve at a time.
Youth Ministry
Each Sunday morning, children get to participate in their own classes. Bible lessons are taught in such a way that every child gets to participate and learn. Each of the class teachers are carefully screened and thoroughly trained in children’s instruction. The youth ministry of The Place of Grace is recognized for their close interaction with the children and are at times asked for volunteer support.
Young Adults
Life can get complicated once you cross that nebulous threshold into adulthood. There are complicated decisions. Bigger stakes. Serious relationships. And a whole lot more decisions. The young adult group at The Place of Grace provides a welcoming atmosphere for high school, college and early-career aged young people.
Women’s Group
The Place of Grace Women’s Groups gives the ladies in our church family special times of interaction. Our women’s group, located at The Place of Grace, spend times of Bible study, prayer (and, of course, food). This group provides a refreshing discipleship and fellowship opportunity for the women in the church.
Men’s Accountability Group
Accountability among men is an act of integrity. Accountability is designed to protect, encourage, and develop men of all ages. This accountability group when formed among the young men at The Place of Grace will meet together as their schedules allow and keep in touch by email or phone.
Married Couples

See You at the Pole National Day is Prayer for Schools
See You at the Pole™ 2021 will be Sept 22, 2021.
TWO opportunities to unite in prayer with your friends:
- DAY: Wed, Sept 22, 7a local time. Around the globe students meet at flagpoles to pray for their schools.
- WEEK: The Global Week of Student Prayer, Sept 19 – Sept 25, 2021. Public, private, or home school students, pray in unique ways, places and times all week. Some will launch on-campus Bible clubs.
- A Place of Grace member on his or her own can also decide and identify a school to go to and pray for. This can be accomplished if possible by going physically going to the school parking lot and taking a few minutes to pray.
- The same effort of prayer as described above can be done for Hospitals, law enforcement agencies, fire departments, etc. Let the Holy Spirit guide you.
Gospel Tracts
Tracts are a good way to evangelize and to spread the message of Salvation to the unsaved. The Place of Grace will keep a supply tracks for individual members to procure and hand out as led by the Spirit.
